There are a lot of great marketing firms out there.

Many have talented teams, strong systems, and the ability to produce good work at scale.

But scale changes the experience.

And for some businesses, that matters.

I’ve worked inside large marketing firms. I’ve seen how those environments operate, what they do well, and where clients can sometimes get lost in the process.

That experience is actually a big part of why I chose to work differently.

I didn’t start Made By Parke because I wanted more clients. I started it because I missed doing the work I love for businesses I could actually get to know.

Large Firms Are Built for Volume

Most larger agencies are designed to serve a high number of clients at once.

That usually means streamlined processes, standardized packages, established templates, and systems built to move projects efficiently.

There is nothing inherently wrong with that.

In fact, for some businesses, it is exactly what they need.

But efficiency can come with limitations.

A website may start from a predefined framework. A campaign may follow a familiar structure. Your account representative may be managing dozens—or sometimes hundreds—of other clients at the same time.

The goal is often to create a strong result as efficiently as possible.

My approach is different.

I Want to Understand the Business Before I Design for It

Before I build a website, create marketing materials, or recommend a strategy, I want to understand how the business actually works.

What are you trying to grow?

Who are your best customers?

What does your sales process look like?

Where are things getting stuck?

What do customers misunderstand?

What do you wish your website or marketing was doing that it currently is not?

Those answers shape the work.

Because a website should not just look good.

A pitch deck should not just look polished.

A marketing plan should not simply check boxes.

Everything should have a reason behind it.

You Work Directly With Me

One of the biggest differences is simple:

You are not being passed from person to person.

You are not explaining your business to a salesperson, then an account manager, then a designer, then a developer.

You work with me.

I am the person asking the questions, developing the strategy, designing the materials, building the website, and thinking through the details.

That creates continuity.

And continuity matters when you are trying to build something that actually feels like your business.

I Have Been Hands-On for My Entire Career

I have more than 15 years of experience in marketing, but I have never been someone who only managed the work from a distance.

I have spent my career doing it.

Building websites from scratch.

Writing and publishing social media content.

Creating marketing campaigns.

Designing packaging.

Building presentations and pitch decks.

Developing brand materials.

Solving problems when something was not working.

I have also led teams and worked at the strategic level, but I believe that being hands-on for so many years gives me a different perspective.

I understand both the big picture and the details required to actually execute it.

Custom Should Actually Mean Custom

One of the reasons businesses choose smaller studios or independent creatives is flexibility.

There is more room to ask:

What would work best here?

Instead of:

Which package does this fit into?

Sometimes the right solution is a full website redesign.

Sometimes it is a better sales presentation.

Sometimes it is new messaging, a marketing consultation, or a handful of strategic changes that make everything else work better.

I do not believe every client needs the same solution.

And I do not think every problem needs to become a monthly retainer.

One-on-One Does Not Necessarily Mean More Expensive

There is also a common assumption that working directly with an experienced professional will automatically cost more.

That is not always the case.

Large firms have larger teams, sales departments, account management, overhead, software, and infrastructure to support.

Those costs are built into the price of the service.

You may be paying for a much larger machine—even if only a small part of that machine is actually working on your business.

Working one-on-one can often create a more direct relationship between what you are paying for and the actual work being done.

I Started Made By Parke Because I Missed the Work

At some point in my career, I realized something.

The part of marketing I loved most was not managing more people, sitting in more meetings, or moving further away from the actual creative process.

It was the work itself.

I love taking an idea and figuring out how to make it better.

I love building things.

I love solving problems.

I love helping a business look more polished, communicate more clearly, and operate more effectively.

And I genuinely enjoy getting to know the people behind the businesses I work with.

That is why I created Made By Parke.

There Is Value in Being Known

When you work with me, I want to know your business well enough that I can recognize when something does not feel like you.

I want to understand what you are building and where you are trying to go.

That knowledge compounds over time.

The better I understand the business, the better the ideas become.

That is difficult to recreate when you are constantly introducing yourself to a new representative or explaining your goals from the beginning.

You should never feel like client number 143.

Your business deserves more attention than that.

The Right Fit Matters

A large agency may absolutely be the right choice for some businesses.

Made By Parke will not be the right choice for everyone either.

But if you value direct communication, strategic thinking, custom creative work, and having one person who genuinely understands your business from beginning to end, working one-on-one may be a much better fit.

Because ultimately, I am not interested in simply keeping you on a client list.

I want to create work that makes you excited about where your business is going.

And that is the part of this job I love most.
